10 Best Wrestling Stables Of All Time

9. Bullet Club

Foreign heels have always been a major part of Japanese pro wrestling, but they were never the cool guys. That all changed with the introduction of Bullet Club, a post-modern New World Order made up of '90s wrestling fans turned elite grapplers. Since the group's founding in 2013, their antics and mission have resonated with fans so powerfully that they've helped bring New Japan a player on the global pro wrestling stage.

When Prince Devitt, Karl Anderson, Bad Luck Fale, and Tama Tonga came together to form Bullet Club, they were four close friends turning their real-life bond into a storyline. As months passed, their cheating and bullying (a rarity in Japanese pro wrestling) set the group apart from the rest of the roster. In time, new talent joined (AJ Styles, Kenny Omega, and the irony-embracing Young Bucks arrived) and some left (Devitt joined WWE), but the stable continued its ascent, soon reigning supreme over the entire company with a host of championships.

With the recent departures of Styles, Karl Anderson, and Doc Gallows, the group may have passed its prime - already, Omega and The Young Bucks have christened themselves "The Elite," a group-within-a-group that seems to be getting the lion's share of the attention. Nevertheless, Bullet Club's impact is undeniable - go to a wrestling show anywhere in Japan, the U.S., or the U.K., and you're sure to see someone wearing the familiar black and white shirt.
