Most fans think of 2000-2001 as the golden age for WWE's tag team division, and with good reason. Three teams - The Dudley Boyz, The Hardy Boyz, and Edge and Christian - had classic matches with each other and stole the show on more than one occasion.

Edge and Christian spent late 1999 in a high-flying feud with The Hardys, but the arrival of brawlers The Dudley Boyz turned things on their ear. The three teams were booked for the first-ever triple threat tag team ladder match at WrestleMania 2000, and while Jeff Hardy's insane Swanton Bomb off the ladder was the most memorable image from the match, Edge and Christian won the bout.

With Edge and Christian increasingly using chairs to attack their opponents and The Dudley Boyz always fond of using tables, a rematch was signed for SummerSlam. This time, the three teams would have the first-ever Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match - basically a ladder match with lots of other weapons at ringside. This bout outdid the WrestleMania contest, and again, Edge and Christian won.

The three-way feud didn't end there. The teams stayed at each other's throats, and at WrestleMania X-Seven, they had one more match - TLC II. This bout was widely considered the best of the three, with Edge's off-the-ladder Spear on Jeff Hardy one of the most replayed moments in recent WWE history. Once again, Edge and Christian were victorious, cementing themselves as the winner of the best tag team feud in WWE history.
