10 Best WWE Gimmicks That Were Only Used Once

3. Concessions Kane

Some mega-broad WWE comedy that actually got over thanks to the (sometimes overstated) versatility of Glenn Jacobs, Concessions Kane turned the parody his character had become into something we could actually all take the p*ss out of.

Daniel Bryan's brief return to Raw as a one-night General Manager saw him demote his former partner and ridiculous horror movie rival to the concession stand. Logic checked out - he'd proven he could flit seamlessly between the "Corporate" and "Demon" monikers they'd laughably imposed upon given him because we were all too stupid to differentiate between his red and black wrestling gear/mask and his school trousers.

The skits of him flogging frankfurters and the like are sort of charming. Pre-Sarah Logan Sarah Logan giving him a "Chips! You. Are. Chips!" motivational talk is made even better by his deadpanning, Santino Marella could still pull off this bullsh*t as a punter, and WWE's digital team clearly had some fun with uploading it too, changing his nickname to slogans so awful ("The Devil's Favourite Fry Cook", "The Devil's Favourite Potato Chip Vendor) that they had to be escapist ribs at the writing's expense.

Now more than ever, this feels like something the company could revisit. As a public servant and political figure, Jacobs wants people back in buildings anyway - what better way to tease them back than with chips?
