SAnitY haven't been the same hell-raising psychotic b*stards on the main roster that they were on NXT before hitting SmackDown. In fact, they've been neutered beyond belief and forced to become a threesome without menace. Any promise has been fleeting, oh so very fleeting.

Extreme Rules was a reprieve then.

Dumped on the Kickoff show and tasked with warming up the live crowd, the SAnitY boys and The New Day gave their all in a severely-underrated eight-minute Tables Match. Quite how this didn't make the main card but Finn Bálor vs. Baron Corbin and The B-Team vs. Bray Wyatt & Matt Hardy did is anyone's guess.

All six involved did everything they could with the time allotted, and it's worth another viewing even if you sat through the Kickoff's usual blend of minimal action and hype packages aplenty. On this occasion, the pre-show had some worth.
