Between NFL star William "Refrigerator" Perry and WWE behemoths Big John Studd and Andre the Giant, the 20-man Battle Royal was one of the biggest in wrestling history, at least from a size perspective. A marquee match on an otherwise sub-par WrestleMania 2 card, it was hotly anticipated thanks to the mixture of athletes that it touted. Would the professional wrestling world prove superior to the pro football one or would the gridiron greats be able to stand toe-to-toe and overcome the giants of the squared circle? Fans got their answer at the biggest show of the year. Perry was the most impressive of the NFL stars, standing toe-to-toe with Studd and refusing to back down. When an ill-timed charge at the big man resulted in his elimination, he made sure to get the last laugh, reaching out to shake Studd's hand and proceeding to pull him out of the ring and to the arena floor. Andre the Giant would go on to win the Battle Royal which, until this past April's WrestleMania XXX, had been the best in event history.
