Owen Hart's semi-final with The 1-2-3 Kid at King of the Ring 1994 clocked in at just 3 minutes 37 seconds - and yet it is still remembered to this day as one of the best WWE matches of the mid-1990s.

What stands out about this sub-five minute bout compared to many others is that it wasn't merely a frenzied spectacle whose abrupt end owed to some form of interference or crazy high-spot.

Owen, a win-at-all-costs type of guy chasing one of the major honours of his young career, did attack his opponent before the bell - but, after that, it quickly turned into a fine display of technical wrestling, with both competitors remarkably afforded the opportunity to show their best work, despite its short run-time.

In the end, it was the former Hart Foundation member who scored the victory after neutralising his opponent's high-flying offence, going on to be crowned King of the Ring with another quick victory against Razor Ramon in the final.
