Long before they started blowing nostalgia shows, WWE never flubbed their celebrations. And there was no greater particularly in the case of the 'Showcase Of The Immortals'.

WrestleMania XXX didn't have the Madison Square Garden aesthetic of I, X and XX, but the stunning New Orleans Superdome was well-stuffed replacement for one of the greatest stories WWE never told. Daniel Bryan's coronation as an actual top guy wasn't even on the board for the 'Show Of Shows' until infuriated fan sentiment effectively insisted it into life. His cathartic pinfall victory over Triple H opened and stole the show, setting the stage for his glorious triumph against pushed poster boys Batista and Randy Orton in the main event.

Typically, it couldn't have come under more challenging circumstances. 75,167 managed to somehow rebound from the collective devastation over Brock Lesnar's cruel streak-ending win against The Undertaker. The shared shock and silence as the three-count turned into a 21-1 graphic was memorable and mesmerising.

Away from the seriousness on top and a hugely enjoyable undercard, the event's first-time on-camera meeting between Mount Rushmore inhabitants Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin and The Rock was a delight. Going on first, it was a perfect complement to the historic events that would later unfold.
