10 Best WWE Performers Of 2018 (So Far)
1. Andrade "Cien" Almas
Low key is a good way to describe Andrade Almas introduction to life on the WWE main roster. So far, he's been fighting wrestlers so obscure that even they get a little bit confused when they look in a mirror.
That shouldn't take away from how brilliant his performances were in the first four months of 2018, though, during which he fought at least three matches potentially deserving of a place on our annual end-of-year lists.
Two of these are pretty obvious. There was the aforementioned WON five-star-rated bout opposite Johnny Gargano at TakeOver: Philadelphia, plus a spectacular defeat against his NXT Title successor Aleister Black a couple of months later.
Less remembered is the amazing follow-up bout against Gargano on a bog-standard episode of NXT in February, which is arguably WWE's best non-pay-per-view match of the year so far.
All said, he's been absolutely amazing, and looks almost certain to become a star of the main roster over the next two or three years.
