7. 2000 - Can Jeff Hardy Survive Against The Radicalz?
Faces: Jeff Hardy Heels: Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn This would be a smaller final elimination match with Hardy surviving a four on four elimination match featuring four tag teams. Benoit and Saturn were the surviving members of the heel Radicalz group, who got by Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, K-Kwik (R-Truth) and Chyna. Yes, R-Truth as K-Kwik made an appearance at the Survivor Series 15 years ago. This was the end of the Radicalz first year in WWE and they had a really good run together. Benoit was pushed the hardest of the group since he was getting WWE Title shots while Saturn was just a midcarder moving on from match to match. At this point in his career, Jeff was still mostly tagging with brother Matt, although you could tell by the way WWE was booking him that they had really high hopes for Jeff as a singles star. The term 'next Shawn Michaels' was thrown around a lot back then. Hardy was the sole survivor in a match featuring four of the top tag teams in WWE. How I Would Have Booked It: Hardy tries his best to overcome the numbers game by pinning Saturn fairly quickly, but I'd put Benoit over because he was pushed stronger at that point and they needed to give him momentum as a heel. Hardy could afford to lose since he was a tag wrestler back then.
