8. Breezango

Like so many teams on this list, Tyler Breeze and Fandango were aligned together due to sharing a similar character trait; in this case, their heelish narcissism, with creative not having any other plans for them.

However, despite initially languishing towards the lower end of the card, Breezango made the best of their impromptu partnership, featuring in a weekly "Fashion Files" segment that became one of the most anticipated on SmackDown. The pair had captured lightning in a bottle with the skits and won over the WWE Universe with their parodies of classic cop films.

Despite their popularity among fans, Breezango's success outside the ring did not see them fulfil their title aspirations, as their creative peak came during the Usos/New Day duopoly of the SmackDown tag-team division.

Constrained to comedy wrestling, the initial success of the Fashion Files failed to translate into anything greater for the team, and an injury to Fandango mixed with a move to Raw in the 2018 Superstar Shakeup marked an end to the pair's once-considerable momentum. By the time they did strike gold, it wasn't on WWE's main roster but on a 2020 NXT that had badly and rapidly faded from cultural relevance.
