4. Brock Lesnar Vs. Seth Rollins Vs. John Cena (2015)
For an example of a great John Cena match from the 'PG' Era, the 2015 Royal Rumble should be every fan's destination. Joined by Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins, Cena certainly played his part in making the match one of the best of the entire year. There were worries beforehand that Rollins would become lost in the shuffle a little, only serving to make up the numbers when in there against bona fide stars Cena and Lesnar. Those reservations were washed away almost instantly, and Rollins was every bit as crucial to the bout's success as his peers. The action was typical WWE Triple Threat fare, but that has shown itself to be a winning formula over the years. Generally, things boil down to two of the three participants fighting, whilst another catches their wind on the outside. At times, this one followed that blueprint, but it was no less exciting because of it. A relatively flat under card was saved by the WWE Title clash, and it arguably even outperformed the Royal Rumble match itself. The Rumble went on in the main event slot, but most people who elected to watch back to the event will have skipped straight to the Triple Threat. It was almost 25 minutes of sheer delight.
