10 Better World Champion Options Than Brock Lesnar And Randy Orton
6. Shinsuke Nakamura
It may be pretty high up on the list for a guy who hasn’t had an official televised match on the main roster yet, but Nakamura came to SmackDown with a reputation as a champion who can carry a company. He’s one of the best workers on the roster, has an enigmatic persona, and is somebody the crowd gets behind as soon as his entrance music hits.
It isn’t like there hasn’t been precedent for WWE to put the strap on somebody immediately after call-up. Sheamus got the title fairly quickly after moving to Raw from ECW, and he didn’t have nearly the established foothold with the fanbase that Nakamura does. Nakamura, not Orton, is in prime position to be the top babyface on SmackDown, so he is more deserving of being champion.
