As the unbelievably arrogant 'Legend Killer' from 2003-2006 Orton was a revelation. After playing the bland babyface and generic cocky heel, Orton, in his pursuit to defeat and disrespect as many legends as possible, finally had a role he could sink his teeth into. After growing somewhat stale in his current role, perhaps a return as The Legend Killer would reignite Orton and give him some much-needed fire. The list of legends that Orton squared off with during this period of his career is along one: Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Jake Roberts, Mick Foley, The Undertake and Hulk Hogan all had their issues with Randy. There is, however, one legend who Orton has never had the chance to add to his illustrious list: Sting. The recently debuted man in black could have a decent match with Orton, who would be more than able to carry him to something respectable. The match could be set up with a swerve as Orton comes back to save Sting from a Triple H/Seth Rollins attack but eventually turns on Sting. Hey, WWE could even do Triple H/Rollins vs Sting/Orton if they so fancied and it would be a good match and limit the involvement of Sting.
