5. Some Senseless Gimmick Matches Could Return
While nobody wants to see a TLC PPV without many Tables, Ladders or Chairs, there are limits as to how crazy WWE should go here. Of course, we all love our TLC matches, appreciate our Ladder matches and we even have a soft nostalgic spot for Tables matches but those reliable stipulations aren't the only ones that have made themselves at home at TLC over the years.
As WWE doesn't operate on the 'less is more' philosophy, we've seen the company attempt to exploit the themed PPV to within an inch of its life before, producing uninspired inventions like the Chairs Match (a stipulation so unnecessary and clunky that - Undertaker vs. Batista aside - it has never produced a quality match) and the unbelievably baffling Steel Stairs match - which we're still unsure as to what it's got to do with TLC.
While the lack of variety on the card isn't ideal, the silver lining is that it spares us from these counterintuitive and downright dull affairs - so let's just hope they remain off the card.
