10 Big Mistakes WWE Can't Afford To Make At Roadblock: End Of The Line

4. Charlote Wins On PPV... Again

As strong as Charlotte and Sasha Banks’ feud has been, they’ve fallen into a dangerously repetitive pattern. As sure as Charlotte always wins on pay-per-view, Sasha Banks will defeat her opposite number on Raw. At this point, fans know exactly who’s going to win based on what show the match takes place on, and this only dampens what has been one of 2016’s most enjoyable feuds.

It’s time to break the cycle at Roadblock. WWE have seriously played-up Charlotte’s undefeated record in PPV singles matches, and while having her win this weekend would help prolong that, it has gone on long enough for Sasha’s victory to mean something. A clean win over her long-time rival would set Sasha up as the division’s figurehead in the most spectacular way imaginable, and restore unpredictability to a division that could probably use some diversification now.

Marketed as Charlotte and Sasha’s “final match,” there’s no chance they won’t meet again sometime in the future. They’re Raw’s most visible females, the division’s cornerstones, and like Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, they’re destined to do this forever. Charlotte has been an excellent champion and she’s somebody that the company will turn to time and time again, but Sasha’s victory would be infinitely more satisfying.
