10 Big Mistakes WWE Can't Afford To Make At Roadblock: End Of The Line

Chris Jericho has had a tremendous 2016, but the trouble is knowing how long he’ll be around for. The reborn Y2J has recently stated that his WWE contract operates on a “month-to-month” basis, and there’s always the threat that Fozzy will call him away from WWE television and back to the recording studio.

Thus, it makes little sense to have him scoop any major victories at the moment. His match with Seth Rollins is one of Roadblock’s most predictable matches, and unless WWE’s creative team lose their collective marbles, The Architect will walk away with the W.

Jericho, along with Kevin Owens, has done everything he can to make Seth’s life hell lately. The heels’ meddling ways have cost Rollins the WWE Universal Championship time and time again, and payback is long overdue. Rollins has endured an awkward babyface transition, but he’ll be one of Raw’s most popular stars for years to come, and he’s earned a clean win here. Jericho will put him over, and Rollins will turn his focus back to Triple H.

Where Jericho goes from here is anyone’s guess. There’s money in a face turn and subsequent feud with his former best friend Kevin Owens, but there’s just as much chance he doesn’t stick around. Here’s hoping he does: Jericho vs. Owens is a feud everyone wants to see heading into 2017, and the promo battles would be legendary.
