10 Big Problems WWE Creative Must Overcome In 2016

5. Heels

Pro wrestling is missing good old fashioned heels. Sure, you have the likes of Kevin Owens, but then he's too damn good to be really hated. The same was true of Seth Rollins, most fans were quite happy to see him as champion. Then you've got The New Day, who are too "fun" to be loathed. That's why Sheamus made sense as WWE Champion at Survivor Series 2015, he's a proper heel and he gets legitimate heated reactions. He's never looking for any cheers and there's nothing cool about him. But creative must do better than just Sheamus, they need to invest in more heel characters and genuine heated narratives. The key to drawing is having a heel that is really hated and who fans see as difficult to beat. Most heels these days are either too cool or too lame.
