4. Why Did Justin Gabriel Do A CM Punk?

A few days before the Royal Rumble, Justin Gabriel quit. He was a moderately talented worker who was mainly used as a jobber. He'd already been announced for the Rumble match and would've known exactly what his role entailed. For some reason, he decided he didn't want to work there any longer and quit the company. WWE confirmed the release on the day of the Rumble. The reason he quit is because he knew he was going nowhere with WWE. Guys like him can make more money on the independent scene and he simply made the best decision for himself. He'd probably agonised over it for a while, as WWE's underutilisation of him had been going on for some time. Anyone looking for anything more to the story will be sadly disappointed. It is just a case of a jobber realising he had better opportunities outside of losing in WWE.
