10 Big Wrestling Matches With Terrible Botched Finishes

5. Sin Cara Vs. Chavo Guerrero (Over The Limit 2011)

No list of professional wrestling botches is complete without the original Sin Cara featuring somewhere. The wrestler formerly known as Mistico was a huge draw in his native Mexico, but frequently screwed up on WWE television. This ultimately played a huge role in his eventual release, and while Cara tried to blame the company for now allowing him to work the style he used in Mexico, his name had long since become a punchline.

One of his most shambolic performances came against Chavo Guerrero at Over The Limit 2011. Both men were (and presumably still are) skilled wrestlers on their day, but they couldn't click in the ring, and Cara was at his botchy worst. The result was a long series of mistimed, sloppy spots, culminating in an absolute stinker of a finish.

Only Cara himself knows what he was trying to do as he executed one of the clumsiest headscissor takedowns you'll ever see. The luchador was so uncoordinated that Chavo almost had to throw himself face-first into the mat to try and make it look convincing, but he couldn't. Sin Cara picked up the 1, 2, 3, and the crowd were left dumbfounded by this spotfest gone wrong.
