10 Big WWE Face/Heel That Must Happen In 2018

3. Heel: Sasha Banks

There's a strong argument to be made that Sasha Banks is the single greatest women's wrestler to ever step foot in a WWE ring. She's excellent between the ropes, and while the likes of Asuka and Becky Lynch are just as engaging, none can match Sasha's vast back catalogue of quality matches. From her seminal NXT bouts with Bayley to last year's Charlotte Flair clashes, her resumé is impressively deep.

Her alignment is a problem, though. Everything about Banks screams 'heel,' from her cocky promo delivery to the way she swaggers to the ring. She's an effective face, but not a natural one, and it's about time she showed more of her old ways.

As a character, Banks was at her best as NXT's arch-villainess, with her constant bullying and belittling vital in Bayley's development as a sympathetic babyface. Sliding Banks back into this role would allow WWE to repeat this on the main roster. There's no reason not to deliver the long-teased return on her fellow former Raw Women's Champion, and if they were to pull the trigger in January or February, WWE could use it to build towards a blockbuster Bayley vs. Banks clash at WrestleMania 34.
