10 Big WWE Predictions For The Road To WrestleMania 34

2. Roman Reigns Wins The Elimination Chamber

Attentive fans have known WWE's preferred WrestleMania 34 main event for months.

First reported last spring, Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns still feels like a dead cert, and while the company could deliver a massive swerve between now and 8 April, this seems unlikely. The match will rule, but the show will close with another 'Big Dog' coronation, as the new Universal Champion stands tall over the felled 'Beast Incarnate,' confetti streaming from the rafters, juxtaposed with rejection from the bleachers.

It was rumoured ahead of the Royal Rumble that a SmackDown star would win the bout, with WWE taking an alternate route to Reigns vs. Lesnar. That's exactly how things are panning out. Shinsuke Nakamura won the Rumble, Brock retained his belt, and with WWE announcing a number one contender's Elimination Chamber this week, Roman's pathway is clear.

His victory on 25 February is all but guaranteed. Granted, Reigns hasn't been added to the match yet, but that'll likely come in the next week or two. Expect a textbook showing as Roman 'overcomes the odds' to defeat five other Superstars, pinning his old rival, Braun Strowman, for the decisive fall.
