10 Big WWE Salaries That Necessitate A Constant Push

5. Alberto Del Rio - $1,400,000

When Alberto Del Rio re-signed with WWE in October, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that he was on $1.4 million. Former WCW star and Del Rio confidant Konnan also continues to insist that figure is accurate on his radio show. It is a surprisingly large number, one that has since been disputed, but the fact is that Alberto has always been paid well and, in turn, pushed well in WWE. His old salary was said to be $675,000, which is why WWE pushed him hard from the second they brought him into the company in 2010. He won the Royal Rumble in his debut year, then went on to hold several WWE and World Championships. They were paying him a lot of money, and just like now, it requires a strong push to make it worthwhile.
