More backstage drama trickled over to the next AEW pay-per-view: Full Gear.

Ahead of the event, various AEW personnel celebrated Tony Schiavone's birthday at Jimmy's Seafood Buffet on the Thursday. Drinks were consumed, and as tends to happen, tempers flared. Havoc claimed in the aftermath that the report was distorted by the "dirt sheets" - the mere reference to which tells its own story - and said report was thus:

Havoc took offence to something Excalibur had said to him, and threw - and missed - a punch. Excalibur defended himself by trapping Havoc in a chokehold, and subdued him for long enough that Atlas Security were able to intervene. Havoc reportedly attempted to come back for more, and was escorted out of the building. Excalibur followed him outside in an attempt to smooth the situation over. Havoc wasn't interested in calming down, and attempted to throw his phone at Excalibur's head. He missed, and it smashed into bits.

Wasn't he meant to be half-decent as long as plunder was involved?

The two men eventually reconciled, and Tony Khan when asked for comment said he'd seen better fights on a football pitch.
