4. Tyler Bate

He's not strictly speaking an exclusively NXT roster member, but it's certainly where the mustachioed magnificence that is Tyler Bate spends much of his time within WWE. Being the star babyface in WWE's best match of the year at TakeOver: Chicago is already enough to get the crowd behind him, but his ability to act both silly and serious when it's needed helps solidify his appeal.

He's got all the gentlemanly charm of Jack Gallagher but with extra fire and ferocity, incredible wrestling acumen and the advantage of a naturally loathsome enemy in the form of Pete Dunne. The length and simplicity of their rivalry since the introduction of the WWE UK Championship has made for an easy platform to showcase Bate's personality in addition to his amazing athletic skills.

Tyler Bate's prodigious wrestling ability is only made more impressive by the fact that he's a mere 20 years old, and this provides another major reason to cheer for him: he's only going to get better. Considering that he's already comfortably performing in match of the year candidates, given the time and space to grow into an even more proficient performer, Tyler could easily become one of the single greatest wrestlers in the world, and that's no exaggeration. How on Earth could you fail to love someone with that much promise?
