10 Biggest Beneficaries Of WWE Talking Smack

1. The Miz

Let the record show that The Miz has been one of the best on the mic in WWE for several years, but because he has always been a midcard player (save for that WWE Championship run in 2011), he wasn't getting the attention or recognition he deserved. That frustration built up to a point where he eventually snapped on the 23 August edition of Talking Smack, confronting Daniel Bryan and demanding more respect as Intercontinental champion.

It instantly sparked conversation among fans as to whether it was a work or a shoot (or a bit of both), especially after he brought up how Bryan "gave up" on the fans when he retired from the ring. Bryan then said he would wrestle if the company allowed him to before walking off the set. It was the most intense we have ever seen The Miz, and to say it was the greatest promo of his career would be a massive understatement.

Not only was the promo exceptional, it took him and the Intercontinental title to new heights and injected excitement into the retread of his rivalry with Dolph Ziggler. He lost and won back the belt a few times since then, but his work over the last year has certainly solidified himself as a main event worthy competitor and Talking Smack's biggest beneficiary.
