10 Biggest Feel Good WWE Moments This Decade

5. First Ever Women's WrestleMania Main Event

This would have ranked in the top three if not for the overly convoluted route they took before getting to the triple threat. With that being said, this was almost certainly the most significant thing to happen in pro wrestling this decade.

For as long anyone can remember, this was nothing but a fantasy. Despite the enormous wealth of talent that its women’s roster possessed, WWE, or Vince in particular, were more interested in having them do absurd bikini contests, live sex celebrations and barking like dogs while half naked.

The fact that we went from there, to this night on 8 April, 2019, when a woman stood with her hand raised at the conclusion of WrestleMania, is perhaps the biggest miracle story in all of wrestling.

The best part about it all: every bit of it was earned through sheer talent, hard work and performance. Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair was the biggest thing in wrestling at the time and it rose to that level through purely organic fan support.

No matter what the future has in store for the mad world of pro wrestling, this moment right here with Becky hoisting both belts above her shoulders, will always remain as one of the most cherished ever.

After battling Galactus and pinning Hulk Hogan in the main event of Wrestlemania, I've taken a break from living in fantasy worlds, to focus on writing about them. I'm a comic book geek, a wrestling mark, a break dancer, and a scientist. One of those things may not be true.
