10 Biggest Mistakes WWE Creative Made In 2014

6. Paul Heyman And Cesaro Part Ways

Paul Heyman has the reputation of being a star maker. Throughout his pro wrestling career, Heyman has taken guys that really never had any momentum before and he gave them something invaluable; opportunity. Tommy Dreamer, Sabu and even The Sandman became stars in Paul's ECW. Heyman took Brock Lesnar and CM Punk under his wing in WWE and made stars out of both of them. So when Cesaro was placed with Paul, many WWE fans were likely buzzing with anticipation. The Swiss Superman had become a favorite of the WWE faithful that respected his work ethic and admired his uncanny strength. The only thing Cesaro was missing was a mouthpiece; Heyman would be that mouthpiece. However as soon as the two men began working together, it was over. Cesaro never connected with the fans as others under Heyman had and while it's easy for some to blame either man for it, the fact is WWE dropped the angle too soon. Cesaro never got the chance to get over and Heyman never had the chance to really help him get over. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DLr1mEFk_Y There's no way to know what could have been had WWE stayed the course with Heyman and Cesaro as a unit. Their dissolution remains one of the most bewildering moments of 2014.
