10 Biggest Mistakes WWE Creative Made In 2014

5. John Cena Squashes Bray Wyatt On Raw

Bray Wyatt was on his way to relevancy in WWE. The Eater of Worlds had some momentum going in the company, thanks to his otherworldly gimmick that had gotten over with WWE crowds that loved him despite his heel status. No matter how evil he was or how much hate he spewed forth at other Superstars, Bray was consistently cheered and appreciated by the WWE faithful. So when he crossed paths with John Cena, many believed it was a sign of big things to come for Bray. After all, John is the top guy and getting the rub for him could do wonders for Wyatt's career in WWE. There's also the fact that during the feud, he was as entertaining as ever and the fans were still very supportive of him. However, when Cena's character decided he needed to prove something to Brock Lesnar, he decided to do it against Bray. The match on Monday Night Raw was a rather shocking one for fans, that surely did not expect Bray to basically roll over and play dead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8CkRDCT8DY Cena dominated Wyatt, to the point that the crowd began voicing its disapproval. In one match, Wyatt went from a viable future main event star to being nothing more than an underneath guy for the face of the company. Bray has recovered from the loss but that night is proof positive of just how far WWE creative will go to keep Cena looking good.
