3. Batista Is Booked In The WrestleMania 30 Main Event
Batista's return to Monday Night Raw began well enough. The former World heavyweight champion came back to the cheers of the fans that couldn't wait to see what he would do and how he would carry himself. When The Animal fell to his knees and kissed the mat, it was symbolic of his love for the business and the company that made him a star. However everything after that did not go quite as well for Batista. WWE was not the same company that he had left behind, as the days of the big polished champions like he and Triple H was essentially over. In their place was guys like CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, who broke the mold of what a WWE Superstar should be and changed the fans' minds in the process. Batista seemed out of touch and out of place and it was not long before he began venting his frustrations on the fans who really didn't want him there anymore. So when he won The Royal Rumble and cemented his spot in the main event of WrestleMania 30, it appeared to be very contrary to what the fans wanted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0lRZgjp6TQ The feud was between Randy Orton, Triple H and Daniel Bryan. There was enough heat there to justify a main event and for fans that wanted to see Bryan finally overcome the odds, Batista was an unwanted distraction. His main event inclusion was nothing more than a weak creative move, rather than an intriguing plot twist.
