10 Biggest Mistakes WWE Creative Made In 2014

4. Daniel Bryan's Title Win Does Not End The Authority's Reign

When Sting debuted at the Survivor Series, the moment was one of relief for fans that had been anxiously anticipating his arrival. From the moment that The Icon had signed with Vince McMahon's company, the clock had been ticking; eventually, the dark avenger would finally show his face on WWE programming. Truth be told, his debut was perfect because he was basically the one that facilitated the end of The Authority. What he had not been allowed to do against The nWo in WCW had been booked for him in WWE and the moment fit like a glove. Indeed, it was karma for him and for the fans that loved him. Another truth that needs to be told however is the fact that The Authority never should have made it that far. When Daniel Bryan defeated Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista at WrestleMania 30 to become the WWE world heavyweight champion, it was the biggest blow that The Authority had ever been dealt. The group that had done everything in its power to keep Bryan from the belt had failed in its task and finally the Yes man had achieved his dreams. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cAXfUjw3M4 That night should have been the last nail in the coffin of The Authority. Bryan's celebration on the following Raw should have happened among the backdrop of internal strife with Triple H's group. The Authority's reign could have ended and Bryan would have been given credit for making it happen. Funny how karma prevented Bryan from defeating The Authority and it paid Sting back for past creative sins in WCW.
