Roman Reigns has burned through everyone this year.

WWE's head boy has beaten Kevin Owens, Daniel Bryan, Edge, Cesaro, Rey Mysterio, John Cena, Brock Lesnar and Big E. He's even toppled the previously-"unbeatable" 'Demon' guise Finn Bálor whisks out for major matches. That win, at Extreme Rules, has wrecked the gimmick's value.

Fans were not chuffed with the supernatural bullsh*t WWE put on during the September headliner. Finn's alter ego survived a pasting from Reigns, seemed to summon demonic forces to overwhelm him and then...fell off the top rope when the turnbuckle collapsed. Seconds later, he'd been beaten.

Wow.

Fans were left scratching their heads at this. The 'Demon' had once been considered a surefire win for Bálor - it was his last resort for big time feuds, and it was supposed to be unstoppable. WWE broke prior promises about that by having Finn effectively job to the actual ring itself at Extreme Rules.
