The simple fact of the matter is that WWE produces too much weekly TV. There are only so many different ways you can angle a series of matches involving guys wrestling in the ring. WWE, unlike other forms of entertainment, is limited by its environment. It has the ring and the surrounding areas. It can't go to a new location at will. WWE NXT is the best wrestling show currently in world-wide circulation. One of the reasons for this is how under-exposed it is. One hour every week plus the quarterly specials. It allows people to build up anticipation and value the workers on screen. WWE needs to return to two-hour Raws, they need to do away with Main Event and Superstars, and return to what always worked: Raw and Smackdown for 4 hours every week, plus the PPVs. Reducing the content output would also allow them to trim down the fat (literally) off of the roster and eliminate the nuisance filler we see every week on Raw. The truth is, WWE, about 50% of every Raw nowadays people wish they could skip. Then there are those who do.
