If you thought Long's blunder was bad, you'll squirm in your seat at the awkwardness created by one of the greatest promos in the history of the business, Hulk Hogan. The years haven't been kind to the Hulkster's promo style - he seems overly bombastic and rambling in comparison to the more clipped, natural speeches of the more charismatic superstars these days. Being brutally honest, this isn't the only reason Hulk can't cut a good promo anymore. He's also lost some of that old ability. A prime example came during his initial return to the WWE shortly after the demise of the Attitude Era. In a war of words with Vince, Hogan messed up the fairly simple line "if you think I was just the right guy, in the right place, at the right time", instead bringing the word "wrong" into the equation for some reason. After cutting himself off and gathering his thoughts, he tried again, this time asking if Vince just thought he was "the wrong gay", before immediately correcting himself. It's a cringeworthy moment for a superstar who was once the undisputed master of the mic in his day. Fans got another glimpse of Hogan's deteriorating promo work in the opening segment of this year's WrestleMania, in which he mistakenly confused Louisiana's Superdome with the Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan, the venue of his legendary 'Mania 3 match with Andre the Giant in 1987. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7yP-T3ZCsg
