10 Biggest Shocks In WWE WrestleMania History

6. Bad Bunny Steals The Show

There are a couple of matches in contention for the best of WrestleMania 37, but if we’re talking about the biggest surprise, there’s only one place to look. When Puerto Rican megastar rapper Bad Bunny got involved with WWE programming, most fans were sceptical at best, if not downright dismissive. Oh ye of little faith.

Randy Orton stated that the musician had been putting in hard graft at the gym, but what we got in his match teaming with Damian Priest against Miz and Morrison was simply outstanding. Bunny worked the majority of the match, and did everything absolutely right. From psychology to selling to timing, he just got it.

Then, he hit a Canadian Destroyer on John Morrison outside the ring, leading to frenzy on the commentary desk and the shocked reactions of Priest and Miz. This wasn’t just a good night’s work for a celebrity cameo; it was good full stop.

Best of all, Bunny’s packed schedule means WWE hasn’t been able to return to the well too many times and dilute the experience. It’ll be very tough indeed for Logan Paul to follow this act in 2022.
