10 Biggest Surprises Of Triple H's WWE So Far
8. Tag Team Decimation
As mentioned previously, Braun Strowman returned on the 5 September, 14 months after he was released by WWE.
The fans went wild, and Strowman ripped through four teams who were competing for a shot at the Unified WWE Tag Team Championships, currently under lockdown courtesy of the Usos. Whilst it was a great moment, and Strowman has never looked better, it has ultimately done more harm than good.
For too long, Vince McMahon made it clear that he didn't care about tag team wrestling. It seemed like more of a chore than something to be invested in, and despite having some quality teams in the company, it was never a focal point. With the low hanging fruit available for Triple H to stamp his mark, putting some impetus on the tag division was there for the taking.
But by having a big, meaty monster obliterate the entire division with ease, the King of Kings has made life even harder for himself, as he rendered four possible challengers almost instantly redundant. Since then, Strowman has focused his efforts more on Alpha Academy, but there is no denying that Braun's moment was a bad one for the tag division as a whole.
If the reports of Triple H being interested in bringing FTR back to WWE to 'revive' The Revival (get it?), they must have seen this and figured not much has changed.
