10 Biggest WCW Crowd Reactions Ever

2. Hell Brought A Baseball Bat

As WCW Uncensored 1997 came to an end, it looked for all the world as though the nWo were walking out of another show victorious, after defeating Team WCW and Team Piper in a triangle elimination match. Dennis Rodman had helped the nWo get the win, and as he was helping Hogan to the back a figure appeared out of nowhere to the delight of the throngs in attendance.

That figure was none other than The Icon himself, Sting. Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Randy Savage hit the ring to intercept Sting, but they were all met with baseball bat shots and Scorpion Death Drops. Dusty Rhodes said it best on commentary: "all hell has broken loose, and hell brought with him a baseball bat."

Sting then gestured for Hogan to get back in the ring and face him, leading to yet another humongous pop from the live crowd. WCW would go on to mess this story up somewhat with the frustratingly bad ending to Starrcade 1997, but on this night in Charleston, South Carolina, WCW was as hot as it ever was.
