9. Bayley Debuts
WWE fans had already seen Bayley appear on the main roster for a one-off appearance as Sasha Banks's mystery partner at Battleground in July. That brief exposure did little to douse the flames of anticipation, when a month later, she debuted as an official Raw superstar.
On the August 22 edition of Monday Night Raw, Mick Foley introduced the "hottest free agent in wrestling" and although many fans knew what was coming (especially after the events of NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 2), when Bayley's music hit, the response was deafening. With countless "Hugger Section" signs, the night introduced Bayley in a big way as she interrupted then champion Charlotte.
Fans have argued that Bayley stayed in NXT to for too long but perhaps that only added to the response here.
