10 Biggest WWE Creative Mistakes Of The Decade

6. Bobby's Sisters

Bobby Lashley is a super-jacked brick sh*thouse, but he doesn't possess much charisma, and so he was never likely to usurp Brock Lesnar as a the MMA killer in a full-time role. But that doesn't necessarily mean WWE should have scripted the 'Bobby's Sisters' segment of May 21, 2018.

After a sinister sit-down interview so poorly acted that Lashley emerged from it looking like he'd killed the sisters that dealt him some tough love in childhood, Sami Zayn went on the wind-up. Three Indie doofi rocked up in drag for the old impersonation skit, and it was horrendous. A total Vince specialty sh*t-show. Lashley looked less like a killer after this humiliation; he laughed it off, finding the whole thing amusing.

'Bobby's Sisters' was one of several, strange modern WWE tropes.

Every year, once per year, WWE decides, simply, to write the worst segment it can think of.

The Old Day segment was another creative atrocity. The Club dressed up as doctors and made jokes about Big E's injured testicles. Alexa Bliss bodied Bayley during 'This Is Your Life'. Baron Corbin last week brought out a costumed big dog to mock the Big Dog, Roman Reigns, even though he had claimed he was no longer a big dog. Even when WWE does something that is barely germane to pro wrestling, there is still no consideration to psychology.

TL;DR: in response to a new appetite for pro wrestling, WWE doubled down on dying sports entertainment.
