10 Bold WWE Predictions Before 2024 Ends

1. Fans Turn On Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes should have a statue built of him for maintaining 100% babyface support through that WrestleMania 39 loss to Roman Reigns. He kept hearing the cheers throughout back-to-back Rumble wins, and is still hot after winning the title despite most of his feuds being secondary more than true 'A' storylines since.

This won't last forever. It can't last forever.

One can see Cody starting to hear serious boos once he begins butting heads with old Legacy leader Randy Orton. Fans have a lot of love for Randy. He's a WWE lifer, and there's going to be a lot of sentimental value in picturing one last World Title reign. Rhodes is the guy who stands in his way, which will make him a heel by default to select viewers.

Admittedly, Cody's performances have played before a scatter of grumbles here or there since he won the belt. They're not loud by any stretch of the imagination, but they will be soon. Rhodes deserves endless credit for prolonging his stint as a genuinely likeable baby, but the fans will turn him heel someday.

The prediction here is that WWE gets pushed into teasing that direction by live crowds before the end of 2024.
