10 Booking Steps For WWE Monday Night Raw (Oct 19)

6. Braun Strowman Defeats Dean Ambrose

Speaking of Hell In A Cell, it was confirmed on Monday Night Raw that Dean Ambrose will team with Randy Orton to face Braun Strowman and Luke Harper on the show. This is simply a way for WWE to keep everyone involved relevant, feeding off the story between Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns. The match is logical, because there is history there, but it needs a little more build. One way to achieve that would be to have Strowman destroy Dean Ambrose. Better yet, Harper and Strowman could attack Orton backstage before the match, leaving Ambrose as easy pickings. Decimating their opponent, there would be a story going into Hell In A Cell. The announcers could reason that Strowman is a beast who can't be stopped. That gives fans reason to care about the plight of Ambrose and Orton. Despite their cheery outlook on Raw, they should be more serious characters. They're about to come up against a pair of complete monsters, and that needs to be put across in storyline. After the beating, both Orton and Ambrose would have cause to fight, appearing as underdogs on the Pay-Per-View.
