10 Booking Steps For WWE Monday Night Raw (Oct 19)
5. Leave The Talking To Bray Wyatt
As aforementioned, Roman Reigns cut a meandering promo on Raw that didn't exactly hit the mark. At the upcoming Pay-Per-View of the same name, Reigns will meet Bray Wyatt in a Hell In A Cell encounter. That needs to be the focus, not lifeless interview segments. Talking isn't Roman's strength, so he shouldn't be doing the majority of it. Instead, Wyatt should be the narrator for this feud. Reigns can occasionally chime in, but his full focus should be on shutting Bray up, not joining in on the microphone. On Smackdown, Wyatt confirmed that he had something in mind for the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw. Hopefully, this is in the form of a promo, because the man's verbal skills are second to none. With just one more edition of Raw to go before the Pay-Per-View, WWE only have one more big opportunity to make the bout feel huge. There's supposed to be real hatred from Reigns towards the cult-like Wyatt, but that plot point has been wasted in recent weeks. Promos aren't what Roman Reigns is all about, the feud is much better when Wyatt is the one delivering them.
