On last week's episode of Monday Night Raw, The Usos emerged victorious over The Social Outcasts in a short match. Despite taking place in the WWE Tag-Team Title contenders tournament, the action had a throwaway quality to it before Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows made their debuts. Only then did things begin to get interesting.

Come SmackDown, The Vaudevillains vanquished Goldust and R-Truth to advance to the Semi Final stage themselves. Simon Gotch and Aiden English are the new kids on the block, so beating them wouldn't really be progressive. Besides, WWE have a clear out that they can make use of on Raw.

It remains to be seen whether or not Gallows and Anderson will link up with AJ Styles on the WWE main roster. That's one option, and if it's something the company want to explore, targeting the family of Roman Reigns would make sense. After all, Styles is set to meet Reigns for the WWE Title at Payback.

Gallows and Anderson could cost The Usos their match, before beating them relentlessly once again like mercenaries looking to send a message.
