2. Kevin Owens Helps Chris Jericho Beat Roman Reigns

The fact Roman Reigns no longer has the WWE United States Title seems to make it more plausible he will walk out of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view as the new Universal Champion. By switching the secondary title from Reigns to Jericho, WWE were almost clearing the field so that Roman could hold Raw's top prize heading into WrestleMania.

Last week, Reigns was only beaten due to the handicap circumstances of his match against Y2J and Kevin Owens. Despite going up against Jericho in singles action on this show, he'd still fall victim to the numbers game that JeriKO employ.

Crucially, this would further highlight the idea that the heels won't be able to team up on Reigns come the Royal Rumble. That's something Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves would put over on commentary.

Distracted by KO, Roman finds himself blasted with a Jericho Codebreaker once again. Afterwards, the villains would be able to resume their party mood from earlier in the evening, revelling in the glory of another big victory.
