10 Booking Steps To AJ Styles Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura Vs. Finn Bálor At WrestleMania 34
4. Finn Bálor - Royal Rumble Winner
Finn Bálor has been pretty quiet since making the move over to SmackDown Live. The 'Demon' has been absent the entire time, as the Irishman hasn’t been faced with a rival that necessitated its use. Bálor has consistently picked up wins however, besting Sami Zayn at Hell in a Cell and regularly getting the better of Rusev on SmackDown. Poor Rusev.
Bálor enters his first Rumble at number four, a spot from which no individual has ever managed to win the match. Finn Bálor is no ordinary superstar however, and he navigates the field with few problems. He doesn’t dominate, but he doesn’t seem in any legitimate trouble.
Bálor is helped somewhat by the entries of Anderson and Gallows at 13 and 19 respectively. The former RAW Tag Team Champions will play a large role in the central portion of the match, without assisting Bálor directly. The three will come face-to-face (to face) in the centre of the ring, only for other individuals to get involved before anything happens.
The final five of the Rumble will be Bálor, Gallows, Anderson, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins. Gallows and Anderson still refuse to attack Bálor, but distraction leads to their demise as they are eliminated by the former Shield members. Reigns and Rollins become preoccupied with each other however, allowing Bálor to eliminate them both and win the Royal Rumble. Finn Bálor is going to WrestleMania.
