This really is a question that needs answering soon, because the longer they vacillate, the more confused fans are going to get. At Fastlane, New Day came out, clearly as heels sparring with Edge & Christian. E&C ran them down as cheap copycats of their popular tag team, hardly a ringing endorsement. But then New Day began badmouthing the League of Nations, a heel stable that features two former world champions. The League came out to confront New Day, who bowed out and then joined Edge & Christian in mocking them from the aisle. But New Day since then has sparred with the Lucha Dragons and AJ Styles & Chris Jericho, both of which are good guy teams. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDE0X_2X4qY So are Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods turning face, or are they just equal opportunity jerks? Theyve run through just about every face tag team out there, so turning and feuding with every heel team would certainly prolong the act, and it would go along with the fact that theyre largely being cheered these days. It would be nice to get an answer to this question soon though.
