Stipulation matches can be a logistical nightmare for everyone involved. Every table, ladder, kendo stick and box of tacks adds another potentially disastrous variable to a match. Sometimes, however, the stars align and the right people have the right match at the right time. In this instance The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz and Edge and Christian elevated the previous TLC match to another level.

The first TLC match between the Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian at 1999's No Way Out ended in a standing ovation from the crowd. The follow up at the 2000 Royal Rumble took it to another level. Now a three-way tag match with the addition of the Dudley Boyz, TLC became an instant classic.

The styles of these three teams were the secret sauce. With each team having an "associate" at ringside, this expanded TLC could have devolved into a mess. Instead, the match flowed, the high spots made sense, and the highlight reel is insane.

In a bout filled with OMG moments, it was Jeff Hardy's Swanton bomb from a 16 ft. ladder, through a table, that dropped every jaw in the Astrodome. In the end, it was Edge and Christian with their hands raised.
