10 Coldest Performers In WWE Right Now

2. Emma

Emma is obviously disgruntled. She took to Twitter recently to confirm as much. WWE have spun fiction from this fact in a classic careful-what-you-wish-for scenario. She wanted an opportunity...so was afforded the luxury of losing to Nia Jax in two minutes on the July 24 RAW. She progressed on this week's RAW, in that it took Mickie James three minutes to put her away.

It's as if she is suffering from Dolph Ziggler Syndrome; she's telling WWE how good and how under-utilised she is without necessarily showing it. Emma, when motivated, is an awesome talent. Her match with Asuka at NXT TakeOver: London was easily the best women's match not involving a Horsewomen WWE has ever promoted. None of the viciousness she displayed then, none of the urgency, was displayed in the James match. Emma took her down with a hair-pull snapmare, and applied a full nelson - but she was going through the (slow) motions. There was no intensity to it. Just barely suppressed resentment, and you can't really blame her. She knows she's being punished.

Her recent prove yourself story arc makes no sense for a heel because it's not really a story arc at all, but a disciplinary measure. Still, Emma might be better equipped than anybody on this list - which would have included Neville of all people last year, proving how quickly things can change - to improve her lot.
