10 Completely UNHINGED Moments From WWE Video Games

7. The Druid Battle Royal (WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011)

Much merriment was had in households worldwide when THQ added the 'Road To WrestleMania' mode into their annual games. That started with SmackDown vs. Raw 2009, so the team needed a few out-there ideas come SD vs. Raw 2011. Don't worry, 'cause The Undertaker had them covered.

Your chosen superstar wins the chance to wrestle 'The Deadman' in a one on one clash at 'Mania. Stephanie McMahon is there to congratulate you (this guy's choice was Dolph Ziggler), then the screen goes a little funky. When you arrive for Raw the next week, you'll find that the usual backstage area is warped and there's nobody but druids behind the curtain.

Next stop: A 'Druid Battle Royal'. Yes, you're reading that just fine.

Your wrestler has to win an elimination-style bout vs. the mysterious druids. It would've been some pop had one of them uncloaked to reveal Dean Ambrose/Jon Moxley was beneath the hood, but that wasn't on the cards. Regardless, this was an unexpected and completely bonkers turn of events that helped give 2011's 'RTW' mode some much-needed uniqueness and personality.

Rest In...pieces around ringside, druids.
