10 Most Controversial 'Shoot' Comments From WWE TV
3. Heyman Shoots On Vince
One of the rare highlights of the botched Invasion angle was this, Paul Heyman's wonderful worked shoot promo on Vince McMahon and the WWF on the Smackdown before Survivor Series. Heyman, one of the best talkers ever in wrestling, spoke from the heart and vented a lot of his frustrations about the creative direction of the product saying that it 'sucked' and that he thought Vince had 'lost his mind'. He kept going, branding Vince's creative concepts 'antiquated' and 'draconian' before turning his attention to the disastrous XFL, bringing Vince out to join him in the ring. The worst was yet to come, as Heyman told Vince that he 'hated' Vince's guts and that he had lied to his father by destroying the territories after he died. Other highlights included Heyman saying that Vince made himself a billionaire on Hulk Hogan's blood and that he had stolen ECW's ideas and passed them off as their own. A total work, of course, but a lot of Heyman's comments clearly came from the heart and even Vince looked surprise by what he was hearing. A longer, unedited version also apparently exits and fans have been clamouring to see it for years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrOwFrF01kM
