3. Stephanie McMahon Is Made To Talk To Dusty Rhodes' Hand
If there's one thing a McMahon cannot tolerate, it's being made to look like a t*t against their own will. For evidence of this, look no further than the time The American Dream decided to embarrass The Million Dollar Princess live on Monday Night Raw in 2013.
With Dusty Rhodes and Triple H squaring up to one another in the middle of the ring whilst in the thick of their compelling Rhodes/Authority storyline of the time, the father of NXT opted to catch Steph off-guard by face-palming her mid-segment. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the daughter of the boss was less than pleased by this off-script move, highlighted in her quick swiping away of the hand on air.
Far from accepting the new heavily scripted nature of the company at this time, it was reported that Dusty was still a fan of keeping people guessing and making things up on the fly, holding true to the traditions of the business he'd been brought up on instead. It likely didn't result in him being on the receiving end of a McMahon Christmas card that year, though, it has to be said.
